Mental Wandering And Random Thoughts Part 10 by Ron Murdock is a list of thoughts that drift across the seas of what Ron sees on his mental wandering. Hopefully he inspires the thoughts of others.
As good as a voice Adele has, she really needed to get over the broken relationships she has sung about. Some goes for Alanis Morrissette. Both sound like bitches that couldn’t let go of their past.
Bell Phone came out with a radio ad that appeals to the herd instinct. At the end of the commercial the speaker said; ‘99% have chosen to stay with Bell, shouldn’t you too?’ I’ll pass on using Bell myself because of this ad.
When sharing a bed a couple will have their patience tested to the limit when bedding is being ‘hogged’, high decibel snoring and farting in bed becomes commonplace.
The only thing that really matters is looking at the bottom line in the cold light of dawn…How far can social engineering go? Does it involve ‘loving’ something that would otherwise we will hate or refuse to do or submit to their ‘unescapable social destiny’?…How many of us humans think more of tomorrow thinking today is taken care of?
Is it possible that the confusion regarding God is due to the cultural differences or social conditioning we’re exposed to? Still it is a belief system we’re dealing with not the truth…There is a book called ‘The Great Divorce’ that has been around for some time. Though religious in nature it could be about the relationship between Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor.
I keep wondering what the social engineers are up to next in their ways to manipulate the rest of us…Is the next enlightened awakening really going to make a difference or will it be just another consensus reality trap?
People who say they can stop thinking should try it even for a few seconds. Thoughts are like pop ads on various websites or the ticker tape at the bottom of a news channel. They stop for a moment then quickly goes to the next news item.
How confusing is it when a 24 hour store has a hour of operations on the front door?…Instead of finding fault with others, let the Light shine on you and see what dirty little secrets you are hiding from public view… Good teachers are waiting for you to catch up to the answer already there.
How many clergy, educators, politicians, hard care feminists or misogynists have some twisted agenda to pass along that has nothing to do with anyone’s well being?
Recently I read a book where the sub-title was ‘become the man women want’. How about the man is just himself so a woman can see the real thing? It was also written that no matter what decision a man makes in life it boiled down to one thing – to meet women. Just when I thought other things needed to be dealt with. It comes down to just that one thing that sounds so superficial to me.
It’s been said that opposites attract but do they in practical terms? How often does a couple join together outside their tribal or primary group setting? It would be interesting to see what would happen if all the caste systems and labels were tossed into the garbage.
Though one can do a lot of research and find plenty of information in a very short time, how much has Google and Yahoo affected our thinking abilities and long term memory?
I see political correctness leading us into another dark age, as if we really got out of any of the previous ones. All it has done is to keep us inhabitants of Planet Earth dumbed down.
A lot of my time is getting to where I’m going and concentrating on what I will be doing. I look at the end results too much not at the how and why of what I am doing.
I won’t listen to what I consider gossip as it’s to close to slander for my tastes. Plus it’s a waste of time for my ears to listen to. If one has a problem with another person, do talk to them yourself. Don’t take up my time; I got better things to do.
No matter how giving a person reckons they are, there is always a degree of self interest involved. If a person is honest enough with themselves they will admit to asking; ‘What can I got out of this?’ or ‘What’s in it for me?’ But not to worry, it’s just human nature to act this way.
