Kevin O’Leary The Loud and Dreary
There has been recent speculation that Kevin O’Leary, self-proclaimed financial wizard, and the outspoken member of the very popular entrepreneurial TV program, Dragon’s Den, is thinking of running for the leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada. What tragic news. As if Canada doesn’t have enough problems already.
I have a great deal of respect for Kevin’s financial advice, but absolutely none for him as a person, and even less for him as a potential political leader of Canada. Nothing could plunge Canada into a two class system faster than a wealthy narcissistic self-righteous jackass, void of the ability to know he is really nothing more than a damn idiot with specialized skills. Which, unfortunately, is woefully inadequate to do true justice to his ego. He is, according to the folks where I come from, nothing but a ‘damn gold digger’.
A gold digger in the sense that I use it, is someone who is born into less than wealth, but somehow suddenly obtains wealth, and then firmly believes themselves to be ‘better’ than others. They go to great lengths to flaunt their wealth and influence, such as by joining ‘prestigious’ clubs, rubbing shoulders with dignitaries, and insisting that they always receive preferential treatment. But, the hallmark of all gold diggers, is when they make a comment like, “I can buy this place and fire your ass.”
Opposite of a gold digger, is a ‘blue-blood’, someone who may, or may not, be born into money. The major difference between a gold digger and a blue-blood, is that a gold digger spends all of their time trying to impress people with their money and power. Adversely, a blue-blood spends all of their time trying to be a normal person, and uses their power and wealth to improve the lives around them. Blue-bloods seek validation as a normal human being, where gold-diggers only seek validation as someone very important. A good contrast to O’Leary, is Justine Trudeau.
Trudeau was born into money, and has spent his whole life trying to be just like everybody else, and trying to make the world a better place. O’Leary experienced sudden wealth, and takes great pride in his mocking moniker, “Mr. Wonderful”. One was chosen lead, the other figures he should because of his greed. Trudeau believes that Canada’s number one resource is its people. Kevin O’Leary believes that Canada’s number one resource is the poison being pumped out of the ground, as he stated on a CBC Edmonton AM radio show, “”I believe she’s (Racheal Notley) not qualified to manage Canada’s number 1 resource.” That statement brilliantly illustrates just how much of a short-sighted idiot Kevin O’Leary really is.
Kevin O’Leary has invested heavily in the mass extraction of Canada’s non-renewable resources, and it seems to be his opinion that the future of Canada must be sold off as quickly as possible in order to make him as much money as possible (no possible political conflict of interest there…). But, the true shortsightedness of his idiocy is that the toxic crap being pumped out of the ground is of the least economically valuable resources Canada has. Fresh, clean air and water, the very stuff being horribly polluted by said poisons being pumped out of the ground, will very soon be the most valuable commodities in the entire world. Yet, brainiac O’Leary says that we need to pollute more of it, and at the same time, speed up the sell off of the remaining other resources that Canadians will one day need to survive.
Again, there has been widespread speculation that the poster boy for those who would destroy planet Earth, Kevin O’Leary, is contemplating a run for leadership of the Conservative party of Canada. And, given the horrible, anti-Canadian activities of the party when it was last in power, he seems like he’d be the perfect fit. For there is probably no one better equipped and suited to facilitate the mass sell off of Canada to foreign interests than Kevin O’Leary. However, as a potential prime minister of Canada, there is quite possibly not a single soul alive who could, and would, do more harm to the nation than him.
The only advice he has for the future of Canada is to bloody sell it off, as fast and furious as he possibly can (to line his own pockets). His advice to create jobs, is to ship all manufacturing off shore to take away jobs from Canadians, and to create more jobs in foreign countries. His social policies are straight out of a Charles Dicken’s novel, “Are there no prisons? Are there no workhouses?”. His education policy is just to believe in him, and then learn just how horribly wrong things can go, and how quickly. Let it be known that it is the humble opinion of this writer, and several million Canadians, that Kevin O’Leary, like his southern counterpart, Donald Trump, is nothing but a damn gold-digger, and that the nation of Canada sure as hell deserves a lot better than his egotistical foolishness and nonsense.
